In light of the devastation COVID-19 has caused and the schools resolve to using virtual learning, parents simply cannot afford to quit working in order to stay home and educate their children. Further, some parents, especially foreigners and those from low socio-economic communities do not have the wherewithal to assist their students. As a result, our program seeks to help children complete their online, digital learning assignments whilst providing food and other activities for out-of-school children. The goal is to provide educational services during the school day, from 8am to 3pm and then aftercare services to help children complete their homework. Here, students attend our program during the day, whilst parents are at work and receive 3 meals while there. During the day, teachers/coaches help children navigate online learning to get their assignments completed, provide homework and remedial help, and introduce other fun activities to keep students engaged.
